Arg I'm a slow writer!

Do you ever realise you've had a billion ideas for post ideas floating around your brain for the past months (/years) and yet you somehow never write anything, or you start but never finish? That's me right now! Thing is, I really want to do a post about something pop cultural next because I want to cement the theme of this blog as wildlife AND pop culture. I had a nature blog before (http://a20somethingsnaturediary.blogspot.com/) which I'm no longer using, partially because the title will become innaccurate in a matter of months when I turn 30, but also because I wanted to expand my focus and theme to make it an all round blog about...stuff I'm interested in, basically. But it turns out I have a lot of thoughts in my brain about pop cultural stuff and not a lot of writing space in there. Just now I procrastinated writing for like an hour for no reason, that's what happens when I have an unexpectedly free hour. My drafts are a disaster of unfinished posts.

Anyway, my next post is going to be a personal history of my former internet home, the website Channel Awesome. Just over a year ago was when the site completed its utter collapse, and it feels like the time to revisit. I had a lot of emotions tied to that site, a lot of misguided opinions about the men in charge and they way they would and wouldn't behave, and I'm also interested in how the former producers are getting on these days and how far the realm of review content (now almost exclusively hosted on YouTube) has moved from what we might call the 'Channel Awesome style'.

Till next time!
